Nancy L. CluttsMayor Clutts represents the City of Tavares in a leadership capacity on numerous boards throughout the Central Florida region. Among these, she is the Chairwoman for the Lake County Water Alliance, member of 2008 Water Congress, Past President of the Lake County League of Cities, and Chairwoman of the Florida League of Cities’ Energy and Environmental Policy Committee. A graduate of the University of Florida, Nancy Clutts is currently serving a third term as the Mayor for the City of Tavares. She is recognized by the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council and myregion.org for her leadership in creating a regional best practice in community visioning. Nancy was instrumental in forming numerous regional, public and private partnerships in order to engage the stakeholders of the City of Tavares in creatively planning for the future. The City is now in the implementation phase of the citizens’ vision.
